ABOUT US
Welcome to Purdue Swim Club!
Purdue Swim Club is the official club swim team at Purdue University. PSC is a competitive club that competes with other college clubs across the nation.
Our mission is to offer a healthy, competitive, and fun environment for all types of swimmers. We practice five nights a week and participate in several meets including the Collegiate Swim Club Nationals that takes place in April.
Lastly, we are a proud partner with the swim company, TYR and hope this webpage will be helpful in answering any questions you may have about our organization.
If you would like more information or learn more about how to join our club during the Fall 2024 semester, please feel free to contact us at: swimclub@purdue.edu.
Boiler Up!
Practices
Swim Club practices take place Monday through Friday at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center in the Corec. All practices are optional, and our coach provides flexible workouts for all skill levels. Practices are from 6:30 to 7:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 8:30 to 9:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After practice, come join us for Hot Tub Club, where we go hang out together in the hot tub.
Meets
Each semester, we typically participate in about three meets at Universities around the Midwest. In the past, we have gone to Ohio State, Michigan State, IUPUI, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and more. Our meets are totally optional but are a great way to get to know the team! Our big meet of the year is Nationals which has always been super fun for all our members
Socials
We pride ourselves on being a team that chooses to spend a lot of time together outside of the pool, having socials that take on many different forms. From celebrating snow days on Slater Hill, to enjoying a quick fountain run on a warm September Day, Purdue Swim Club always finds excuses to get together and have fun!
